Dr. Avinash Islur, BSc MD FRCSC

• Assistant Professor

Dr Islur obtained his BSc in Biology at the University of Western Ontario. Following this he completed his medical degree at the University of Toronto. Post-graduate residency training was completed in Plastic Surgery at The University of Manitoba. He then went on to complete a fellowship in hand and microsurgery at The Buncke Clinic in San Francisco. He is the former head of plastic surgery at St. Boniface Hospital as well as the former Residency Program Director in Plastic Surgery at The University of Manitoba. He is currently the owner & medical director at The First Glance Aesthetic Clinic and Surgery Centre and president of the Canadian Society for Surgery of the Hand.
