Dr. Christian Petropolis, MD FRCSC

Dr. Christian Petropolis studied medicine at Dalhousie University and completed residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Manitoba. He completed a fellowship in Adult Craniomaxillofacial at Sunnybrook Health Science Centre before returning to Manitoba to practice. His clinical interests are Cranio-maxillofacial surgery, trauma reconstruction, cutaneous oncology and head and neck reconstruction.
Dr. Petropolis is the former program director for the plastic surgery residency and currently assisting in the role managing the program. He has a strong interest in medical education and surgical simulation. His other research interests include medical modelling, 3D printing and rapid prototyping.
