Dr. Jessica Winter, MD FRCSC
Associate Professor
Dr. Jessica Winter studied medicine at the University of Saskatchewan and completed residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Manitoba. She completed two fellowships, one in Hand &Wrist surgery the University of Kentucky and a Microsurgery Fellowship at Uppsala University in Sweden before returning to Manitoba to begin practice in 2024. Her clinical interests are in extremity reconstruction, hand surgery, and Facial Nerve.
Dr. Winter has a strong interest in community and global health, and holds a graduate certificate in global surgical care from the University of British Columbia. She Has been involved in several research projects, attending both national and international meetings, in addition to publishing in several peer reviewed journals.
